One of the NV TOWER's most challenging floors in engineering aspect has been completed on time. At level 4, reinforced concrete structures are implemented by the traditional method, pre-stressed reinforced concrete and steel-reinforced concrete structures are combined. The necessity of having a spacious conference hall has led to the decision to reduce the number of columns and searching for another approach to divert vertical loads away. This challenge has been resolved by Structo's structural design team, who has constructed a spacious steel-reinforced concrete farm, which steel skeleton can be seen at the beginning of the video.
The construction of these unique architectural shapes and spaces in the building requires the use of pre-stressed beams (PT Beam). They have big beam support distances (~ 28m) and cantilever sections (6m). Post-concreting stress method is used.
Aluminum panel formwork "SKYDECK", a PERI system solution, is used to achieve deadlines and accelerate shuttering.
