NV Tower has been awarded the prestigious third place in the international competition for high-rise buildings Emporis Skyscraper Award. International panel of experts selected the winners among over 600 eligible projects worldwide, which were completed in 2021 and are at least 100 m tall. NV Tower impressed the panel of experts by its unique conceptual design, reminiscent the beauty of natural crystals and the mountain tops, giving a harmonious new look to the Sofia cityscape. It is the first time in the history of Emporis Skyscraper Award that a project from Bulgaria finds itself among the top 10, and this year NV Tower ranks in the high third place, after the winner the Valley project, in Amsterdam and the project ranked on second place in the competition 111 West 57th Street, in New York. With 4 buildings in the top 5 being around 100 meters high, this year's competition shows that the height no longer plays a key role in the design and that criteria such as sustainability and innovation of projects are valued better.
